Thomas Schirmer has more than 25 years of M&A experience in advising on domestic and cross-border transactions. In his role as lawyer, his clients include Austrian and foreign strategic investors, private equity funds, state sponsors, pension funds and financial institutions.

He also practices company law and advises boards of directors, supervisory boards and shareholders.

He started his career with the law firm Binder Grösswang in Vienna, where he is a partner. He studied law and business sciences in Innsbruck and obtained a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) at the Tulane University Law School in New Orleans.
